Role and responsibilities of the EAL Lead / Co-Ordinator

Your EAL Lead/Coordinator role may be full or part-time; it may be management only; it may include managing EAL teaching staff and/or delivering EAL support yourself.  The documents below outline the responsibilities.  An assessment of both your own position and school’s stage of development in relation to these will support you in prioritising your responsibilities and actions. Although some of the documents may be outdated, those listed below are still very relevant today.
