The resources and advice documents on the following pages have been suggested by teachers of EAL in Lambeth schools over the past few years.  They can be drawn upon to:

  • establish the profile of a child or your school
  • establish a welcome and induction process for new arrivals
  • contextualise learning 
  • enhance language learning by providing opportunities through collaborative activities to both listen and speak the target language 
  • support differentiation, for example in writing activities. 
  • identify SEND
